There's a good chance you find a flatmate or a place to rent. The feedback is on the technical side of the phone app. Phone app messaging functionality is rubbish. Can't see new messages in the app unless I go through the email notification about the message. Refreshing the screen does not help either. I often get a blank screen when I follow email links. The notification counter (# of unread messages) on the app icon won't clear even after I've read them. I use Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.

The app gets buggy if you flip in and out of different chats so hopefully they patch this soon. The price point is a bit high for the premium listing but the service is much better if you pay it. That being said, I've definitely saved more on my rent with the flatmates I found than if I tried to find a new place by myself, so I guess it's worth it in this rental market.

A wonderful business but the app has been disappointing, many times there is a profile freeze (white screen when trying to view a profile). Messages in your inbox could be more apparent too, feels like you really need to check each individual conversation to see. Maybe a solve would be to have a red number for unread messages? Hoping we get some improvements this year to get a better experience, otherwise I'll just stick to using the website on my pc.
