Update: the new updates are even worse! Now when I share a link with a written message, the message gets sent and stays in the text box, so I have to manually remove it before typing my next message. Ugh, the new updates are mortifying. I accidentally hit your dumb Meta AI so often, it's going to look like I've adopted the feature. And why is the camera button on the top of the message center now? This makes absolutely no sense. I miss the search functionality at the top. 🙄

I like the new update, the UI looks fresh and sleek, and the AI is fun. I also appreciate the option of being able to make stickers from photos directly in the app, but it seems there's only 2 options for the backgrounds. Those are auto crop or full background. I don't see any eraser tool, besides the one in the paint brush tool which doesn't seem to work for backgrounds or paint. If this were fixed and I could erase parts of the background from within the app it would be 5 stars

The quality of this app has suffered as of late. recently I was locked out of a group chat that I created and was the admin for. Suddenly I couldn't send messages to the chat. The only thing I can think of is I did use some meta AI searches with in the chat. Anyways the only way to fix was to erase whatsapp and do a restore from a chat backup. Really bad. Next issue is intermittently when I edit messages it doesn't show my edit or update. The only way is to close the chat and reopen it. Poor qa

What's new

• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started.
• Group chats show the profile photos of their participants.
