Really liking this series! And it's a long enough story to stay interesting for the duration, be able to play for a while, and there's video reward options for perks, but you don't need them to play. Even the real money purchases go really far in the game too. The story is complex enough that finishing the game, leaving it be, and coming back to play it over again later is fun again and again.

Challenging game. But irritating for a few reasons. Clues cost you and to the point where money is needed to be spent. Puzzles don't have any real clues and found myself tapping all over to hopefully find something. Items are spread throughout where I found myself going all over and back again. I don't have patience for that and ended up just deleting it. Other games have clues that were challenging, but this was just irritating with the darkness and eye strain I felt from searching.

Really excellent. I've played 9, 8 and now 1. It is clear to see the progression that was made in visuals, puzzles and gameplay - developers that listen and learn are rare. Although each game is perfectly ok played in isolation, I would recommend starting at 1 and going through them sequentially as they do form an interesting and developing storyline.
