I have had this app for quite some time. I find it easy to use. I am currently having some annoying issues with playlists though. I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro, my wife has the Pixel 7 mini. We are experiencing the same problem, in that tracks added to any new playlists are deleted all except for the first track. My old playlists are unaffected. Please advise, many thanks.

I like the interface, but adding music by putting it into a folder is hit and miss for recognising tags. The handling of albums with the same name, such as Greatest Hits, is totally wrong, and I ended up renaming each album with the name of the artist after the title so it would see them as unique albums. The option to combine albums of the same name can be turned off, then the tag problem rears its ugly head making some albums to have multiple entries in the album view. Gapless playback is the best I have heard from any Android player. Lyrics display is poor, as it strips out new lines, leaving a large block of text, making it hard to follow. It would be much improved if the main screen could easily be displayed by album or song, instead of only artist or genre. UPDATE: I don't recommend the Pro update if you have any type of connectivity issues. I am behind the Great Firewall of China, and n7 regularly kicks me back to the free version, losing all my pro options until I can reconnect on a internet connection that, I presume, connects to an authentication server.

Updated review [version 3]: Was an excellent app to begin with. The 10 band equalizer is still fantastic and is excellent at enhancing the quality of the listening experience (although I highly recommend tweaking it to suit your own tastes since the presets aren't particularly good). Unfortunately, the bugs in the app are worse than ever, and the developer is making no effort to fix them. 😡 Creating, saving, and managing playlists has improved with version 3. However, the app is still unstable – crashing frequently for no apparent reason. 👎
