Ratings and reviews

Feels like the same game as the first, controlling more than 3 units can be annoying and the missions are in my opinion way too simple and straight forward. The game lacks depth and to make matters worse you only get a small portion of the available units and have to spend absurd amounts of money to unlock all the units after already buying the game.

Expected more depth, so many things that could have been added to make it more strategic and complex. E.g. a building to research upgrades for the units, specialisations for the towers... Also I don't understand at all the small missions, they repeat and get boring very fast, why not make the classic challenge levels once you beat the mission, like in the whole kingdom rush saga? Still a good game but too close to the prequel for me personally.

It's fun, just don't expect Iron Marines 1. Iron Marines 1 had more satire, and seemed a bit more thought out. This sequel seems like the first game was bought by another developer and released again to make money. Some of the characters get caught running in place and defeated. Sometimes the tap and drag movement doesn't work and the screen moves instead of the characters.
