On www.kompass.de/outdoorkarte/, PRO members have access to additional maps (public transportation, topography, Switzerland), advanced tour planning, and a clear and fast tour search. Saved tours are automatically synchronized with the app.

FREE TRIAL PERIOD OF THE PRO SUBSCRIPTION:
The app with basic features (base map, location, tour recording) is free (KOMPASS Basic). With a KOMPASS PRO membership, you have access to all features and content. After registering, we offer you a trial period for PRO (activatable on www.kompass.de in your profile settings). The subscription ends automatically.

THE GENUINE HIKING MAPS & OUTDOOR MAPS:
Our maps strike the ideal balance between content density and clarity. Not every hiking trail is a via ferrata, and not every mountain hut is accessible by a mountain bike trail. Paths, trails, and climbs, rest stops, viewpoints, landmarks, etc., are clearly marked or labeled. As a PRO member, you can easily read this information and more from the map materials of over 500 KOMPASS hiking maps.

Ratings and reviews

Maps are great, but I have big issues witzh saving a tour. Once a click stop tour, i get to the screen for entering a title for the tour. When cklicking "save", it asks if upload even though no wifi. But then (no matter if i click yes or no) the tour gets often not saved and it's gone. Very sad since there were cool tours I would have liked to save... maybe there is some solution

Bad new version. GPS not accurate. Need to wait for a long time to update or launch Google maps which will correctly read the GPS and then the app will also show the right reading. Frankly there is no improvement over the old version. Problems downloading larger maps - it is stuck at 99% and never finishes. Want the old app back!

Purchase option is awful. I have purchased a 3 months subscription from the app, and after one day nothing at all happened. No maps and bank transaction still in progress. Furthermore the app keeps displaying my status as not logged in (that is no true). Wrapping up: no maps, weird profile status, no control on the order (there seems to be no section to review your orders). I hope to get the money back.

- A bug has been fixed that caused the KOMPASS app to appear in various app choose dialogs.
