HOW DOES MULLVAD VPN WORK?
With Mullvad VPN, your traffic travels through an encrypted tunnel to one of our VPN servers and then onward to the website you are visiting. In this way, websites will only see our server’s identity instead of yours. Same goes for your ISP (internet service provider); they’ll see that you’re connected to Mullvad, but not your activity.

TELEMETRY AND CRASH REPORTS
The app collects a very minimal amount of telemetry, and it does not in any way tie it to an account number, IP or other identifiable information. Account numbers are used for authentication. App logs are never sent automatically but are rather explicitly sent by the user. App version checks are performed every 24 hours to tell the app if there are any upgrades available and if the currently running version is still supported.

If the split tunneling feature is used, then the app queries your system for a list of all installed applications. This list is only retrieved in the split tunneling view. The list of installed applications is never sent from the device.

Ratings and reviews

Cheap and pretty alright. The UI could need some finetuning. I would like to set favorites, blacklist servers and put protocols n stuff in an order. Setup with Wireguard was a little bit problematic because my public keys were not accepted. Furthermore I would like to see a little tutorial for people with very little knowledge so that I could recommend this service to people with almost no technical experience. Would recommend. 2023-11-05 App needs 8-10 minutes to start, what's up?

It is fast to connect & works really well with my Redmi Note 11 & Windows laptop. I just wished that the permanent notification on my phone shows: The Location/Country connected to & it's IP address instead of saying only "Secured" (and this setting, if added, should be able to be turned on/off... for people that may not like it). Also, adding static IPs would be great. Also, add more duration for payments using Google Play (3months, 6months, 1yr) instead of only 1 month payments as it is now.

The best VPN service, I've been using it for quite some time, it has lots of features. Although, there are still things that can be added, for example automatic IP change/refresh, I don't know why it's not available, instead of manually refreshing the IP it would be nice to see an automatic option for that.
