Does most of what I need, but doesn't always work as intended. For example, when I send out a test version of a newsletter, I get a notification via the app saying I can read it there. This function has never worked. Additionally, not being able to edit newsletters from the app is super unhelpful. Overall, both the app and the web version could be more user friendly. The taxonomy needs a lot of work. Aside from that, I like the app and the Substack platform.

It's supposed to be a podcast app, but it confronted me with brainrot videos. I couldn't listen to their podcasts in order on the website, so I caved and downloaded their stupid app, but it could do even less than the website. Why only show me the newest podcast? If I'm listening to a podcast I might want to start with the first episode, or at least, when I finished listening to the oldest episode, continue with the second oldest and not, if it exists, listen to an older episode next.

This app is awful. I love substack, and the idea behind it, but the android app has been drowning in bugs for years. And it hasn't improved at all for years. In browser on mobile, it malfunctions in a whole new set of ways.
