Night screen main goal is to reduce the brightness of your screen lower than you can achieve with the default settings. This application applies an overlay filter that acts as a dimmer to darken the screen. It helps to avoid headache and eye pain in a dark environment or at night.

I've had this app for a long time, may be 7 years, despite having little use, but I am finally getting it uninstalled today - reason being night mode is already built-in my old phone running on Android Pie, which is much more advanced, and able to learn my usage and automatically enable it during those house and doesn't conflict with screenshots, or any other apps. I still remember this app used to cause problems with other apps specially in older Android versions. Thanks to Night and Dark Mode

Great app, one of the first apps I decided to actually buy. Android started breaking some functionalities (dimming system/settings menus; some things won't "just [easily] work" with it on, such as updating apps), but that’s something that dev cannot change. Used to be cheaper, but since I managed to nab the cheaper version, I'm that much happier :). One problem is that the newest update broke automatic turning off the app in the morning for me (Android 12, Galaxy S10+), so I had to downgrade.

I got this app to reduce the brightness and blue light at night on my previous phone (Galaxy S4). It worked perfectly, only it would not reduce the brightness of the navigation buttons (I used tape instead). I liked that i could easily adjust the levels on the widget from the drop down menu, & also turn it on & off easily. My new phone (A20e) doesn't need the app as much because it has a finer adjustment of the brightness and a blue light blocker, but I still use it for more reduction of light.
