I've been using Smule for 4 years and sometimes enjoy the updates and sometimes not! But currently, I'm getting stuck on one screen or the screen goes blank/black. This happened twice during my session tonight. Can only get back in by rebooting my phone. That has also been the case with the chat, too. But this is more important! I'm afraid of losing all my recordings or getting locked out of my VIP account, altogether ☹️ I hope it's just another update glitch and that it will be fixed asap! 🙏🏼

I was allowed to sing one song by myself, which felt natural with my anxiety. But, after that, I selected another song and got hit with the fact I had to pay to sing by myself, to pay to start a duet, to pay to join a group. In order to sing, which is the main purpose of this app, I have to join another person, which is the only free option. I find it very greedy and upsetting that singing solo is behind a pay wall. "VIP" To just sing by one's self, which costs 19.99 a month!😤

It's a good app for singing. I have been using this for 5+ years. Recording is smooth, but there is a delay in voice sync with the track. There is an option to adjust the vocal settings, so I set it 98ms ahead to match with the track. Smule gives us a platform to sing, but only we should upload the tracks. I am an uploader, I have purchased many tracks to upload just to entertain the followers , but there is no recognition for uploaders. No way to monetize. Not even a discount in membership.
