Years ago, the notes traveled at a consistent pace, and would only speed up or slow down if the pace at which you played sped up or slowed down. This was an ideal system! That is no longer the case. EDIT: a year and a half later, as well as a report to Smule support, and nothing has changed. Any rests longer than a quarter note speeds the next note to you at maximum speed, forcing you to either play the song incorrectly or take a points penalty.

I really, really liked this app. That was about 7 years ago on my iPod touch 4th gen. I had lots of songs that I didn't have to pay for, so it didn't matter if I had the VIP pass or not, but that iOS stopped being supported and I couldn't access the app. I was happy to find it again recently, but it seems like the only way to play much music is to pay kind of a lot or play whatever few free songs they give you. Really fun, sounds great, sad that it costs so much to really enjoy like I used to.

Used to play this game all the time and get free songs. After level 12, you have to buy the subscription or the smoola coins because they no longer give you free songs, and the cost of each song is too high to earn without paying for them.. I've played this game since 2016, and I'm EXTREMELY disappointed with how it turned out. For now, I will be uninstalling, and unless you want to pay for this game, I would not recommend it.
