Callfilter.app is a simple and effective app that blocks unwanted calls. It’s free, has no ads, and doesn’t collect or share your personal data.

WHAT IT BLOCKS
Callfilter.app can automatically block:
• Telemarketing and aggressive sales calls
• Scam and fraud calls
• Debt collector calls
• Unwanted offers from banks
• Survey calls
• “Silent” calls (instant hang-ups)
• Calls from numbers in your personal blacklist (wildcards supported, optional)
• Calls from numbers not in your contacts (optional)
• Any other unwanted calls

PRIVACY-FIRST
You can use Callfilter.app without Contacts access.
If you choose to allow Contacts access, the app can always allow calls from your contacts (optional).

ALWAYS UP TO DATE
The spam database is updated multiple times a day. Updates are optimized to keep protection strong without draining your battery or wasting data.

Ratings and reviews

Incredible, for years I have been looking for such an app. Easy to use, it silences (like DND mode) all unknown numbers and lets known numbers pass through, ringing as usual. It can obviously be set up in different ways, at your convenience. I am a real estate agent and wanted to keep a bit of peace in the evening and at the weekend, during family times, this app allows just that! Definitely a five star rating from me.

They moved and disabled "block all calls except contacts", they had to tell me where it was moved to in order to re-enable it, it's in "filter priority" now. It shouldn't have gotten disabled in their update, but it is what it is.

While annoying, their customer service helped to get the subscription recognized. The 5* is based on the old version and the block all except contacts option. I don't have experience with the new version yet.
