CookBook is free to download. Store 20 recipes and use 20 smart imports free. Yearly plans include a 14-day trial where eligible. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in your Google Play subscriptions. Unused portions of a free trial or subscription period are non-refundable.

Ratings and reviews

The app that I previously used is no longer updated as the owners have retired. I did a lot of research to find a replacement. I personally don't care about menus or shopping lists. I want a place to collect all of my recipes and to get the nutritional analysis of the recipes I put in. I either enter the recipes manually or by copying and pasting. Cookbook fit the requirements that I was looking for. It very quickly copies recipes I found on websites into my CookBook. I'm loving it.

latest app update has destroyed my shopping experience by moving items around seemingly due to American leaning "AI". Dishwasher tablets for example are not health and beauty. Biscuits are not frozen items in the UK and never have been there since I installed the app. now I have to spend a lot of time resetting my preference, aisle order etc.

The app gets progressively more unusable with time. As they try to shoehorn in new pointless features, the core features become unusable. I am now left searching for a way to transfer my recipes to a new app. I have tried to reach out with feedback through their suggested feedback link and days later just get a pointless AI response.
