Ratings and reviews

Ultra flexible simple nav app, we can plan a route in adding numerous waypoints and the only one I found we can set customs speeds. Very useful for unusual speed limited vehicles or bike! Map data are lighter compared to competition while including as much as POI than competitors. The offline address entry is getting dated now, I usually skip it and place my destination point directly on the map as it is more reliable and quicker to use.

Great app, using the free open source maps. Once loaded, it needs no data connection so great where coverage is poor. Easy to load maps for other countries before you leave. It also has footpaths on the free maps, so I used it for walking - it has got us out of a good few map reading errors in the walking group (I'm the only one who trusts in electronic maps instead of paper.

Still downloading the offline map (FR) for around an hour.. despite full battery and my fast Internet (250 Mb/s) it seems to download only at a rate of 2 MB/s (16 Mb/s).. Other apps manage to use more bandwidth.. So I cannot even start using it (offline) as I wish. Moreover, it looks like the download stops after a few minutes in the background, so I must keep it in the foreground until the download is done and cannot do anything else in parallel. Enable background job (e.g. with WorkManager)!
