Ratings and reviews

Never rings when I receive a call / rings only at the end, not giving time to even react. During a video call, app prefers streaming good quality video rather than good quality audio, which makes other people inaudible and glitchy... Edit : Now seems to make my device overheat with a simple video call... And puts a virtual lock that basically forces you to update with no technical reason to do so.

Un dark mode: when you vizualize an image you can pin it using the button in the upper right, BUT the color of the button does not change after click! Which confuses the user, I had to make sure the image was correctly pinned several times. That's a minor problem, to justify one star review! It's because there is no problem report feature in the app.

This was a good app. No unnecessary issues used to arise. However, for the past few months, its updates without reason are causing harm. My account keeps getting banned for no reason, and when 1 tries to reactivate it, the verification message doesn't come. And if it does come, it gets banned again after 5 minutes without any reason. Whatsapp only sends automated texts via email, they don't have a solution to resolve the issue. It would be better if it is left as it was before.

What's new

• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started.
• Group chats show the profile photos of their participants.
