About this app

So I was annoyed not having an LED notification light on my phone and I tried to make one of my own.

With phones having AMOLED display whenever a desired notification comes the app brings in a black screen with notification LED looking animation.

To use it:
1. Disable Ambient Display and any battery optimisation for the app.
2. Give notification access permission.
3 Select apps you want notifications for, by choosing a color
Note: On successfully selecting a color for an app the text in which the App name is written should change to that color
Thats it😇.

For MIUI 11 devices make sure that AutoStart is enabled in App Info. Also check "Show on lock screen" permission in other settings.

Additional Features:
1. Change LED animation time.
2. Change LED colours.
3. Change LED position.
4. Notify for missed calls.
5. Change LED size (Premium required!)
6. Add Downtime
And many more...

Premium version can be bought within the app to unlock all features!

I used a different one for years that was faultless but sadly it doesn't work on my new Samsung. This app only works when the phone is asleep. Once you wake the phone the led stops. It doesn't work if you are using the phone, which is annoying because if I'm using an app or watching Netflix it doesn't blink at all so I don't know a notification has come through. Also you can't set it to blink until you clear it or message is read, you have to set a time, which is not good through the night.

I had a different app for my notifications but it stopped working and was beyond complicated to set up!. I want to buy the premium version of this, but can't see how much it is before agreeing to some kind of contract? I'd really like to know. Otherwise, it's working great so far, very easy to use. An emoji cascade wouldn't go amiss if you're looking for future developments 🥰

I was disappointed to discover there is no notification LED on my new Oppo Find X2 Pro, so I wanted to find a way to overcome that. I tried several apps, but quickly settled on NotifyBuddy. Although there is a free version, I soon decided I wanted to pay the small price to unlock all its features. This means that notifications appear on my lock screen in the form of app icons - you can select the size, colour and which ones you want to show from a list of all your installed apps. I've set mine to blink on and off at one second intervals and for NotifyBuddy to not show any notifications when the phone is in Do Not Disturb mode. A double-tap brings up the lock-screen fingerprint sensor, so it's easy to open the phone without even picking it up. This is my preferred set-up, but the program is very flexible. It does consume some battery power because I've set it to run in the background (which seems pretty essential to me) but the extra drain is very small.
