About this app

Manage diabetes together with the LibreLinkUp app – a tool for monitoring someone's glucose from afar [1]. Now with interactive glucose graphs and glucose alarms [3, 4].


LibreLinkUp allows you to monitor and support people who are using a FreeStyle Libre sensor and compatible FreeStyle Libre app. You can link up by asking them to invite you in their app.

Whether you’re a family member, friend or co-worker, the LibreLinkUp app helps you monitor and support people in your life so they can better manage their diabetes. You can use the LibreLinkUp app to view their glucose with a quick glance of your phone if they’re using a FreeStyle Libre sensor and app.

GLUCOSE HISTORY AND INSIGHTS: Touch the glucose graph to see recent history, or review a logbook of glucose scans [2] and alarms [3, 4] – so you can better understand glucose patterns

Ratings and reviews

LibreLinkUp is a very useful app that helps me monitor the glucose level of my aged mother. The information on the graph would be more helpful if the graph limits can be raised from the current 350 to 500, for example. Another option is to allow the user to set the graph settings. Once a reading of "HI" is indicated, it'd be helpful to have the corresponding glucose level number shown.

The late 2025 update FINALLY (after a couple of years with chronic problems) appears to fix the issue with "no data" for 30 to 90 minute chunks at a time despite us both being on excellent wifi, usually in the same house. upping from 1 star to 4, to be determined whether stays consistent with this and whether the erasing past data and rewriting it with different glucose numbers (revisionist history) is fixed too. If so, might give 5 stars later.

Usually very reliable but it logs out on its own and won't let me log back in, even after resetting the password. This happened after midnight and I have to stay up to monitor my child's blood sugar levels because there is no way to use the app and can't contact anyone until the morning. Upsetting to say the least and not the first time it happened.
