About this app

allertaLOM is the Lombardy Region App that allows you to receive Civil Protection alerts issued by the Lombardy Region Natural Risk Monitoring Functional Centre, in anticipation of natural events with possible damage in the area.

How the Civil Protection alert works in the Lombardy Region.
The alerts concern foreseeable natural risks (hydrogeological, hydraulic, strong storms, strong winds, snow, avalanches and forest fires) and present increasing levels of criticality (code green, yellow, orange, red) depending on the severity and extent of the phenomena. The alert documents are intended for the local Civil Protection system and provide indications for activating the countermeasures envisaged in the Municipal Civil Protection Plans. For citizens, alerts are a tool to know when to adopt self-protection measures, following the indications of the local Civil Protection Authority. Ratings and reviews

Actually, it's a pretty nice and goodlooking app with various functionality. The only shortcoming for me is the lacking of English language. Although I can understand 90% of the content, it will still cause inconvenience in some situations

The app works, you can find some information in there, but don't expect a great experience because the UI is terrible. Needs a serious redesign.

No language options for the many non Italian users who live in the region. 🤦🏿‍♂️
