I really like this app! It works better than the native camera app on my phone. I love that let me chose how to record the audio on my videos, since the native camera app uses a compression method that ruins the audio. All of that said, it happens usually that I stop recording a video, see the end result and the video ends before I actually stopped them. It's like it trims the video by a few seconds. I don't know why it happens but I would give 5 stars if fixed!

Update: Thanks Mark! While it's a terrific program, there are some glaring issues I'm surprised are still around. The biggest being the inability to switch between cameras, having a 0.6x, 1x and a 2x and the other is that it sets my screen's brightness to maximum. Also, both the 0.6 and 1x use the same sensor model which is 50MPs binned to just under 13, which Open camera doesn't recognise. There also is no option to ahoot RAW, only JPEG, Webp and PNG.

For brightness, please see Settings/On screen GUI/"Force maximum brightness". RAW is supported (if Settings/"Camera API" is set to Camera2), but it requires the device support this for third party applications.

really nice, but there is an issue with the pitch and level lines being very incorrect. running on a Samsung s21+. I have a level app and have calibrated my phone using an analog torpedo level and a flat tripod head till it's perfect, yet when I turn on level and pitch lines I have turn turn my phone around 23 deg. to get level lines and the picture is very far from level. repeatedly checking with the level app shows it's perfectly calibrated. but the open camera app is way off. rest is great!

In Open Camera, try Settings/More camera controls/"Calibrate level angle"? (This changes what Open Camera sees as being "level".)
