Ratings and reviews

Was (and still is, kinda) a really good communications app, but the new layout is very difficult to come to terms with. It's very difficult to search for things that used to be easily accessed (server list and online statuses, etc.), swiping where the list used to be makes you reply to a message, which in most cases forces you to edit it. Older layout was much better and more pleasing to look at and use.

Don't get me wrong, this is my main communication app for almost everything, and it does a fairly good job. The problem is, the UI is constantly falling behind what it's expected to do, and having any large amounts of photos or GIFs in one place at once makes the phone lag. This isn't an issue on iPhones, 14 Pro Max specifically, but it is on other flagship androids? Really disappointed. Edit: Even after the recommendation for help and reinstalling the app, the problem is still perstent.

The Discord android app is one of the most infuriating experiences I've had, having used it for years. They keep making changes which further break their platform. All new, "fun" features are a total waste of effort if I cant even TALK TO MY FRIENDS. I'm sick of being know as the person with technical issues. What's the point if you keep breaking the one thing the app is designed to specifically do? To response: I wouldn't be posting this if I didn't try basic troubleshooting. Hence the review.
