Ratings and reviews

The app/website themselves are great, but customer support is entirely unhelpful. If you are locked out of your account they only offer 1 option to verify your identity: card information on file. I had no payment information on file due to always using PayPal for purchases. They wouldn't accept my ID, invoice numbers, email and phone number verification, a list of dates of purchase for games, or any other information offered and then closed my ticket leaving me unable to use the games I paid for

The Steam app is a great way to interact with friends and access your steam account through mobile instead of using the web browser and(or) Desktop version. It is a little slower then the desktop version and slightly clunky. However it's great for just accessing your account, updating information and chatting with friends. If you have two-way authentication enabled then you might get a authentication loop until you disable it or delete steam chat then reinstall it(it worked for me).

whoever programmed the Steam Guard needs to be taken out back and shot. I get stuck in endless verification loops nonstop, and I can't do anything in the app without a popup telling me to verify my actions in the app. you know, the one I'm ALREADY USING, and there's no way to verify without closing the page I'm already at in the app, and then I have to verify AGAIN. This app sucks, never set up Steam Guard. It ruins everything
