I created an account after having quite a successful account last summer. went on a few dates, met some really colourful people and some not so colourful. but Unfortunately hinge has now chosen to hide my profile to try and tempt me into buying their hinge X premium. I got a notification that I got a match, then within an hour of checking the app, the match had disappeared. I doubt it was even a human anyway, probably a bot. hinge used to be great but like all the dating apps now, greedy.

I have been a paid Hinge+ member for months. I ran out of profiles to swipe on ages ago and there is a trickle of one or two that show up each day. But the real frustrating part is that there *are* 17 more profiles that I *could* swipe in if I paid for each one of them because they are in the Standouts. 17! I have even experienced a profile move into the Standouts while I am reading it! Hinge wants me to pay to send likes even though I've already paid for Hinge+. I'll never pay for Hinge again!

Awful app. The lack of being able to properly include any interests leaves the pool much too varied to find any sort of person with similar interests. There's no real way to tailor the dating pool with the exception of if you smoke, drink, or want kids. Not only that, but the facial verification software has also failed 30+ times (I kid you not), so good luck being verified.
