All I did was try to update Google authenticator. Had no idea I installed a paid program, until a $49.00 charge turned up on my credit card! Can't find out how to dispute on the Google store , so trying to dispute on my credit card. $49, is way too much for what you get in this app, especially as there are so many free alternatives.

The biggest scam ever. I try to export and import my authenticator from one phone to another, and I have to pay to do that, because the import and the export options are behind a paywall. And now I risk losing a very important account and I don't want to spend 16 euros just on a single feature. Won't even be surprised if this gets an automated reply or something saying I'm at fault.

Google Authenticator is a simple and reliable app for two-factor authentication. It adds an extra layer of security to your accounts, generating time-based codes that are quick and easy to use. The app is lightweight, fast, and works without an internet connection. Perfect for anyone who wants to keep their accounts secure without complicated setups.
