About this game

Play the most-funded game in Kickstarter history anywhere with the Exploding KittensĀ® Official mobile game!

šŸˆšŸ’£

The mobile version of the game is available now, including the Party Pack, Betrayal, Streaking Kittens, and the all new Barking Kittens expansion! Play with friends or strangers in online play, challenge the AI, or play offline with friends face-to-face!

In this highly-strategic, kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette, players draw cards until someone draws an Exploding Kitten, at which point they explode, they are dead, and they are out of the game -- unless that player has a Defuse card, which can defuse the Kitten using things like laser pointers, belly rubs, and catnip sandwiches. All of the other cards in the deck are used to move, mitigate, or avoid the Exploding Kittens.

KEY FEATURES:

- Exploding Kittens is a multiplayer card game for people who are into kittens and explosions and laser beams and sometimes goats.

- Play with 2 to 5 players across multiple phones in the same room, or online with friends or strangers

- Featuring original art by The Oatmeal

- New cards exclusive to the digital version of Exploding Kittens

- Digital versions of the hit expansions, including Streaking and Barking Kittens, as well as digital exclusive Betrayal and Party decks

- The digital version of the most backed game in Kickstarter history

Created by Elan Lee (Xbox, ARGs), Matthew Inman (The Oatmeal), and Shane Small (Xbox, Marvel).

For the price you pay for this game, it's definitely worth it. I do feel that it could be even better with a few added features, specifically, an offline mode. Regardless of it lacking a few things, I have enjoyed this game tremendously and look forward to how it may possibly improve. EDIT: Single player has been added and I could not be happier! Good job devs!

A bit different from the physical card game (no NOPE cards) and some new cards seem too powerful (e.g., if you get cat-butted and can't see your cards, then draw an exploding kitten, you waste half your cards until you randomly play your defuse card). This makes it feel like I'm more at the mercy of what cards the other player has. (Or possibly I haven't figured out the new strategies required.) I had a bug on the medium game; the AI wouldn't take its turn and I had to quit and take a loss.

Bought the actual card game, & had a blast (punny, right?)! Then I had to check out the mobile game, & it's scorchingly fun! No cheap graphics. Very polished, easy to play. The three in-app purchases for an even more expandanded game are only $1.99 each, far cheaper than the physical ones. Moreover, it has multiplayer options, which means you could invite your families and friends to participate with a code. They'll have a blast too! It's so fun, it's blowing up in my face. Ka-BOOM! šŸ”„
