I LOVE this app! I've literally been looking for something like this for years. It lets you actually practice writing kanji but in a flash card electronic format that uses spaced repetition. It's perfect. I couldn't keep up with having an actual physical practice book because I'm on the go too much. This I can do whenever I have a spare few minutes and I don't have to lug books around. Totally worth the money if you are serious about learning to write and not just read.

The app works well now and I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to write Kanji. The low score is due to previous versions that had app breaking bugs. It still has a lot to improve upon shared mnemonics, progress graphs, sentences etc. However what it does, it does extremely well. The developers seem to be on the right track for improvements and have vowed to stop the bugs in the beta version from getting into the release version.

The writing experience is great. Feels pretty natural for a screen, although a stylus is a must to properly get a feel for the motions. Unfortunately, since a recent update, writing seems a bit off from where the stylus is on the screen. Also, while doing a writing exercise the app crashed completely. I still stand by the following, as it relates to a different bug. Developer response time is incredibly fast as well. I believe I saw a bug disappear within 24 hours of reporting it. 👏
