When this app works, it's great and straightforward to use, but when I changed phone case the magnet on the case caused the app to suddenly spin uncontrollably and become unusable. Removing the case fixes the issue though. My phone still loses calibration still on the app even when I do the calibration, it's never quite accurate, but it's good enough. I just find Jupiter and work backwards to figure out where the phone screen should be. My phone is a Pixel 7a

Thanks for the update. Take a look at https://github.com/sky-map-team/stardroid/blob/master/troubleshooting.md which tries to explain what calibration does, why it needs to be repeated and why even after it Sky Map might not be perfectly accurate. Sky Map relies on your phone's compass and different phones just have more or less accurate ones.

I thoroughly enjoy Sky Map! I began using it several years ago wondering what brilliant light was beaming from the cosmos - directly visible as I stepped out my front door. I'm a curious person, love the outdoors & wanted to know what my eyes were beholding. I found Sky Map & the answer came quickly (Venus, at that moment) & that expanded my interest and led me to learn more. I was surprised when I was able to both zoom in and take a picture! Also, FREE & NO ADS ! 👍🌌☄️👍✨

Though the graphics are a bit more simplified, this app is by far the most user friendly of all the star maps. I love the new update that allows you to click on every object in manual mode!

I am glad you like the new cards! More are coming soon. These are thanks to an open source contributor from Brazil who generously donated his time. I'll pass this feedback on to him.
