My street was here in 1927 but Google still can't show it as a street although clearly visible. Overall app seems to work ok although zooming in too far shows totally fictional computer generated detail. Shows a second building of some sort next to mine... but it's been an empty lot for 90 years. Strange!

Since the last update, seeing anyplace (I live in NZ) is r e a l l y slow and seems to take about 30+ secs to become clear. The street view photos are at least 6 years old. It's still a great app, and I will keep using it as it is the best one but I just wish it was more update.

Crashes immediately when trying to open it after update on April 18, 2017, and here one month later on May 19, it still is a broken app. Please fix and I will give better rating. I'm using a Nextbook Ares Android tablet.

What happened??? This was my favorite app. The update ruined it. Hardly loads when I zoom in. The street names aren't there anymore. The "searched" location (red dot) disappears the second you zoom out. What is this street view thing? Just makes everything blue and can't do anything. I try to use it but I end up exiting out because I get so irritated. Bring the old version back!!!

Image quality degraded looks like a gif now. Less functionality like can only view 3d from a set angle - used to have full control. Pretty useless without panoramio image layer. They tried to make it more stylish but it's now only useful for the most famous landmarks. Local use is now pointless.

I used to use this app all the time but after the latest update it's become really slow and irritating. It's also a lot less useful without photos. Just another case of fixing something that isn't broken.

This application crashes almost immediately since the most recent update on my Galaxy Tab 4. I get 1 to 2 minutes of use before my tablet locks up. Then I have to restart it. The previous version of Google Earth worked perfectly.

This app used to work well on my galaxy pro 12.2. But since all the "Updates" it just sits there and the whirling circle does it's thing. There have been no software updates to the tablet that might have impacted the app. Will be uninstalling soon. Come on Google, you're even fooling yourself with a de eptive 4.3 rating out of 5. That's telling me that the absolute approval is 86%. But from the figures cast, only 1,332,476 out of 2,087,792 are completely satisfied, to me that equates to 63.82%. As you can't do simple maths, it's little wonder the earth isn't working for you.

It's not 3D just pictures from the top...I tap on 3D tag but it not real as I saw in pictures... Please make it 3D You should improve it... Give it best picture quality graphics And important thing is it required too much time .... Please give best results

Seems pretty good to me. Obviously it can't be perfect as this is mobile. I do really like the landmark touristy features, I could foresee really making use of those on an overseas holiday. One thing this app does better than any other is simply seeing the world – far too many people are bogged down with trying to find their own street.

Used to be amazing - but then they canned Panoramia photos. That was the ONLY reason I used it: to see other places through the eyes of those lucky enough to have actually been there. Google Street View just doesn't offer the same experience... especially given that most places of natural beauty are OFF the streets (beaches, bushland, lakes etc). Very disappointed in the decision to remove photos so I uninstalled what is now to me a very boring (and useless) app.

Since the "update", there seems to be less street view options and the clarity is not as good anymore when you are in street view. I still enjoy using the app though. Just prefer it before they "improved" things 😉

It's interesting to see a weird computer game version of my house; unfortunately, it's not very useful. I just want to assess my garden and look at the condition of my roof, but it's all just weird smudgy polygons. The imagery without the 3D is grainy and low quality, much worse than it used to be (but they are more recent than the 3D view). The settings aren't very obvious to adjust (automatically tilting etc was annoying). Google Maps seems to do all the same things. This is "fun", but I would prefer an older version of Google Earth, when it used to be more practical.

Amazing try, but not as expected, Google should hire expert 3d designers, after all Google is rich. At least 1%of tourist places not covered and 3d designs (effil tower) is not good. A good 3d designer can make more than 10 places daily better than effil tower. Not a single place in India in 3d. The app encouraging me to learn 3d designing and contribute to Google, but I'm commerce student! But I have small suggestion to Google, you guys failed to get expected results and finally realized the app with plane 3d feature, I suggest to add open contribution feature, I promise you that you will get better designs than that effil tower. Or you can add a designing feature to the existing app (mobile or/and desktop), or realize another software for developers (Google earth dev) with designing and submitting features (mobile or/and desktop). Thank you.

It becomes more or less useless without photos. The little rest of the different functionality can be easily absorbed by Maps. RIP, I've enjoyed so much time travelling virtually.

Gps is not correct as like as google map. It shows your location, shops locations etc wrong. Google map shows correct location than google earth. Also images is not looking so genuine as in google maps. Please fix it. Otherwise it is good.

Names of streets don't automatically come up when your looking for anything. How am I supposed to know where I'm at or going. I hate this updated version.

Its downloading speed is really slow and doesn't exceed 100kb/s. It takes so much time to download the pictures. When you use 3d the pictures quality is really bad you have to zoom and scan the area to download the high quality pictures manually.

This is a useful app, it helped me a lot to navigate through nearby areas. But the 3D service not available in all regions, will be grateful if you fix it.

the indian location 3D view or any view is very disgusting. i don't knw why they are not showing indian location with good images. hated this app.

Just fine. Image quality has worsened over the updates - I don't know whether to keep this app on my phone anymore. Please fix up things.

App is well designed but the 3D views especially of the Indian places are not at all satisfying. It seems as if it is showing the 2D map from a different angle. Need to develop it more.....

This app is good bt i cnt see my hous after search and also when i search any indian place or memorable things i cant see those in 3d ....but whn i srch any fourane place it show me in 3d why this hppene i cnt understand

Bogus! It doesn't even have Real footage, just computer like polygons, similar to minecraft. Why would you not show real footage anymore? There must be something to hide i bet huh?!

Disappointed. The app won't even start even more disappointed that I can't uninstall completely. It's a useless app taking up memory that could be used for an app that works.

Really old images 😤😢😧, 4+ years ago the restaurant across the street was demolished and rebuilt and Google Earth still shows the old building before the works even started.

It's what you should tell us. Will not work with Wi-Fi you have to shut Wi-Fi off and use your network then it works. Plus getting rid of latest update with titanium backup!

Would give it 5 stars but the mobile app doesn't have the tool menu .. i'm a sniper and I want to measure the distances of the long shots (1 km +), at the spot where I am in the field .. please add this to the user interface. Thanx

Update sucks, I used to use it numerous times throughout the day for work, doesn't show street names, exit#! Straight trash, How do I get the old version back,this update isn't working for me,BTW I'm a truck driver!

Used to be useful. I can't find any way to control visible layers now. Just seems like a peice of fluff now to entertain kids. That's what they call an upgrade???

You finally fixed Earth for Android. It now opens .kmz files and works with maps. It should not have taken so long to fix what once worked before.

It might be good for other divices but its pathetic that you cant make it work on a android divice. I mean i would expect this from a ios or windows phone device not from a os made by you

The latest update irritates me as the GPS aka my location is now a two step process and it keeps changing into 3D!

Very poor quality images. Uninstalled immediately after trying it out.

Really needs updating most of the maps are over 4 years old. Alot changes year to year let alone 4 years if not longer.

Last Update ruined this app . Loading is super slow , quality very poor ... extremely disappointed with Google Earth now .

New update no good, no street name, when push back button all the detail gone, need to re enter all the detail. Old version is alot batter.

Slow rendering. 3d graphics look like a water coiour painting. Please feed your programmers on carrots they may see more detail. Not Happy with this, older versions were much better.
