The reader continues reading when you lock the screen, it reads aloud in the background even if you are using other applications. Works well with Bluetooth headsets.

The application does not require internet connection, you can add web pages and download text files to be read later, even when you are offline.

The application is compatible with Google text to speech engine, so you have easy access to high quality, natural voices in over 40 languages. Select male or female voice, speech speed, voice tone and intonation. It can help you learn foreign languages.

The app works really well but it would be even better if we would not need to add all our texts to each of our different phones, if when we have this app on one phone the texts would be on all.

This app deserves more recognition! User friendly interface, and NATURAL voices. As a busy-body and ADHD sufferer, I love using this for studying. I can listen to my notes while commuting or doing dishes or even just chilling out with an adult coloring book. Currently learning material for a new job after a move so it's pretty great to be able to unpack while studying at the same time! I also get migraines, so with the big switch to online, this has been a god-send for reading school material!

Not the most sumptuous UI but a great piece of kit! I have managed to set the online voice engine and pitch to that of a centenarian Oxford professor, and it cracks me up! 🤣 One day soon I'm gonna have to revert to something more appropriate and less amusing... So saveable settings and presets would be on my wish list for this app ... But 5 stars for being the best candidate out there.
