Ratings and reviews

The paid version maybe better, because everyone needs to make money. The free version reads perfectly for 5 minutes, then it's a heavily Spanish accent reading in English. Half of the time it seems to switch as I recognized Spanish numbers and I'm not bilingual. I guess you get what you pay for, and I'm a bit disappointed TBH. This is nothing like the ad that shows a woman taking a picture of a book, lol, of course I'm going on the free version. if I wanted to pay I'd buy the the audiobook.

the free voices are OK. its helping me complete university as a single mom. i love the super speed options. but the time between sentences is really disruptive on the free version. almost unusable, . it makes me angry at the designers. but, i wish i could afford the premium. i could only afford $5 monthly, but the price is very high. they should let people apply for financial aid, which most people wont do because its extra work.

Last update seem to cause problems instead of assist. It no longer runs in the foreground over other apps so I can't listen and do other things on my phone, which is kind of the whole point. It no longer remembers or automatically bookmarks where I stopped it OR it stopped ... so when I open it back up to continue listening it starts over at the beginning. I love /need this app, letting you know so hopefully you can fix these things or remove whatever update messed things up! Thank you!
