★ How can I prevent AppLock to be uninstalled?
Firstly you should lock all critical apps. Secondly, you should activate "Hide Icon" in the preferences tab.

★ Why permissions are required?
AppLock contains advanced features. All necessary permissions are required to implement advanced features. For example, "Photos / Media / Files Permissions" is required to select a background image.

★ What should I do if I forget my password?
You can set a new password by using your secret answer.

★ How can I hide pictures and videos?
If you lock the Gallery app then, intruders can not see your photos and videos.

★ How works the spy camera feature?
When the intruder enters the password incorrectly 5 times, the secret answer screen is shown. After answering the secret answer, a photo from the front camera is taken & saved to the gallery.

It's exactly what I was looking for. The timed lock feature is even better than I had hoped for. Sometimes it hasn't blocked for whatever reason, and I had paid for the ad free version and now suddenly there's ads 'cos there's now a crazy expensive subscription service. I will never pay a subscription service for this app. It seems the ads paid better than the ad free price, I don't know. Its not perfect, but what I need and good enough.

Fuming! I've had the paid ad free version of this app for over 2 years, and now, all of a sudden, there are ads everywhere, and it's become a subscription service. That is beyond ridiculous that someone can pay full price for a service, and then it's completely changed. I don't understand why previously paid ad free accounts were not left as such. Will be deleting and DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

The app is quite good on the surface, however it features way too many ads and often glitches out, disappears or reappears before or after entering the password. You can also shut it down by force stopping the app, which prevents any protection. The UI is good, but with all the bugs it's a pretty poor app
