The app is great. However, it lacks some basic features as below: It would be great to have background logging. The app could save measured sound levels with timestamps as a text file as long as the meter is running. An option to automatically start logging on launch, plus a simple log explorer to view past recordings, would be perfect.

None of you turds handle more than 120 db's! I was wanting a free app to get a measurement for car audio and I know beyond the shadow of a doubt I'm hitting way more than 120 db. Easy! Try making one that's ACCURATE THAT GOES HIGHER THAN 120!

This app doesn't seem to be accurate, as noticeable volume changes do not change the reading whatsoever. Verified my phone is fine, as another app reacted to volume changes.
