About this app

Sound level meter(or SPL) app is shows a decibel values by measure the environmental noise, displays measured dB values in various forms. You can experience tidy graphic design with high frame by this smart sound meter app.

**Notes
Microphones in most android devices are aligned to human voice. The maximum values are limited by the device. Very loud sounds(over ~90 dB) may not be recognized in most device. So please use it as just an auxiliary tools. If you need more accurate dB values, we recommend a actual sound level meter for that.

-2 stars for Inaccurate readings. Installed 3 decibel readers and ran them all in the same environment (to measure a bathroom fan) this one was 5 dB lower than the other two. +1 star for ease of use / UI, +1 star for free install.

great app, visually simple to understand. But must be able to record, review & timestamp and must be able to geo locate in recording. must be able to save output as a file on my device. Also must have schedule so it automatically starts at desired time & automatically measures and records with statistics available at end. Auto time stamping the loudest sounds in time range according to level i choose and then count the iterations duringthe time period. I am trying to measure traffic noise at 4am

the first few minutes with this app are really promising and good, whereas several alternatives that I've used for a couple of seconds bullied with fullscreen ads from the 5th second of usage. so, off these went and now the Sound Meter is installed. whether the readings are accurate, I cannot tell but I will test it further.
