About this app

The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ's last day on Earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. The stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as the individual moves from station to station. At each station, the individual recalls and meditates on a specific event from Christ's last day. Specific prayers are recited, then the individual moves to the next station until all 14 are complete.

Multiple flavours of the Stations of the Cross are provided through this app.

A Plenary indulgence is grated to the faithful who make the pious exercise of the Way of the Cross. Those who are impeded can gain the same indulgence if they spend at least one half an hour in pious reading and meditation on the Passion and Death of our Lord Jesus Christ (Enchiridion Indulgentiarum, no. 63)

I highly recommend this app! There are no ads. It has two sets of very traditional Stations, with text and prayers inspired by St. Alphonsus Liguri and St. Francis of Assisi. The pictures are lovely, the text is easy to read and very inspiring, and the interface flows easily from one Station to the next.

You screwed up the app with ads and bad color scheme. Thanks for ruining a perfectly good catholic app.

I browsed a few of these Stations of the Cross apps and this is the one I prefer the most. I like the way it was laid out, I like the prayers, and I'd like the artwork.
