Ratings and reviews

Very Disappointed -- First month everything went well. I was able to purchase and transfer as needed. However, my ability to use my debit card to purchase stopped 4-5 days ago. I got several conflicting messages about the reasons I couldn't use my debit card. Even after two escalation tickets, I still can't use any of my debit cards to make purchases. It appears to be a limit issue, but that isnt the real problem. Too bad, I liked Coinbase alot at first.

I think coinbase is a very solid and safe place to store your crypto. VERY GOOD FOR BEGINNERS. I wish the fees weren't as high as they are, but they are a centralized exchange after all. Either way I use coinbase as one of my main wallets for storing trading and swapping coins. I'm not a huge fan of the layout of the advanced trading UI, but either way the beginner friendly tab still does everything I need it to do.

I like the app better now that dark mode works better, but the custom notifications are just ridiculous. I believe when I first started using coinbase you could set it up to notify you if an asset changed by a certain percentage which was great. Now, you have to set it to notify you when it hits a certain amount which is garbage. That just means you'll have to keep changing it. As much money as this company makes, you'd think that they could do better but I guess it's asking to much.
