The Datadog mobile app provides real-time visibility into critical alerts, incidents, monitors, dashboards, logs and application performance metrics across your entire environment directly from your phone or tablet.

Datadog ensures that your on-call notifications, phone calls, and SMS bypass Do Not Disturb and silent mode so that on-call engineers can quickly evaluate the conditions that triggered an alert, determine its urgency, and decide the next course of action—anywhere, anytime.

Ratings and reviews

For starters I can't even use the app! Whenever I sign-in through the Sign Sign On (SSO) it just has me signed in through the in-browser screen. NOT the APP. So it makes the app pointless. In this case I just reroute it to my normal browser and force it in PC mode because mobile mode is too close together. Maybe it's better that I don't use the app. I would imagine the app is like the browser but with mobile mode forced... Ehhh no thanks. Points for it working at least in browser. PC is better

Alerts are cute, but email and slack exist, and I trust their notifications more; won't use it. Dashboards are not responsive; basically can't use it. Incidents are an opt-in paid feature, so I have no interest in reviewing them; might use it later, but c'mon, slack exists. As it stands, I can't think of what value this app adds to DataDog's portfolio as it is.

Capabilities are very limited in comparison to the web version. I miss possibility to see logs in the app very much as this is the most important thing that I look first in case of incident. Also, there are some bugs: long widgets should have scroll but it doesn't work for me, so I see only first items in there. There is another bug with the scroll - dashboard shows only first few widgets and when I scroll further I see nothing, even though there are much more widgets. Not recommend the app.
