Continued use of Location Services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Nextdoor doesn't run Location Services in the background unless you give us permission by turning on optional features that require it.

Ratings and reviews

Refreshes my entire feed when I do literally anything. If I look at the comments on a post, when I return to the main feed, it refreshes. Same thing if I switch windows to answer a text message, look at someone's profile page, click on a for sale ad, etc. It even refreshed my feed when I muted someone without ever leaving the feed page in the first place.

I don't typically review apps, and this one isn't terrible. It would be a whole lot better if their email/notification settings weren't complete and utter cancer. I unsubscribed from their emails, and I continued to get marketing emails 2 or 3 times per day. I'm getting emails advertising spectrum and other garbage corporations. This app is not worth all these terrible emails, and it's a huge pain in the butt to turn them all off.

ONE STAR IS TOO GOOD FOR THIS APP NOW!!!!! No longer a good app. I can no longer see my neighborhood. Nor does it allow me to change my feed to only my neighborhood. It only shows global and ads. It has so many ads that the posts get lost. Could be great if they'd remove the ads. I would refuse to buy a product from advertisers on here.
