About this app

Welcome to the first and only auto reboot utility for non-rooted phones.

NOTE: Evaluation version, 15 days trial period

The biggest problem with any Android phone is that, over time, it becomes laggy! Are you facing this problem and not knowing how to make your Android phone faster? Have you noticed that your phone runs smoothly after the reboot? Many people don't know what a restarting impact on Android smartphones is and how beneficial it is for Android devices. Restarting your phone several times a week will increase your device's performance by 18 to 23%.

Major manufacturers and software experts recommend regular reboots of Android phones to maintain optimal performance. Why? Because restarting your phone will clear all your cache files and all the running apps in RAM, which will make your phone run faster.

In many cases, people do not restart their device for a week or even for a month, and that has a huge impact on the device's performance in the long term. So, if you want a faster phone, then you should restart the device regularly. The purpose of this app is to help people keep their phones as fresh as a daisy on a daily basis.

Using this app, you can reboot the phone when you don't use it to clear memory and refresh the operating system on a daily basis for smooth phone usage.

You can schedule the regular reboot at a predetermined time of the day; for instance, you can set up nightly reboots of your smartphone and make it run smoothly every day like the first time you started using it.

Just follow the setup instructions (please read "Help") and leave the app to do the rest.

Happy reboots

Note: The accessibility service is used to display the power menu at a predetermined time and then to simulate a tap on the Restart button, or on the Power Off button, if the user chooses so.

This app collects the device identification number each time the application is started to check whether the trial period has expired or not.

This app collects background location data when the app is in use, to provide advertisements and to support advertising.

Note: If you want your phone to turn off at a certain time instead of restarting, you can set a tap target on the "Power off" button.

Note: In order for the app to work as requested, maybe on some phone models screen lock needs to be disabled (for example, before going to sleep user should disable screen lock if the app was set to reboot the phone during the night)

Also, if your phone has a two-step restart and the restart doesn't work when the pause between clicks is set to the default two seconds, try setting the pause between clicks to one second.

Sort of works. Got it to work on an old LG Phoenix 4, but no luck on a an AT&T Calypso 2. The app will bring up the restart menu but will not actually press the button. Yes I am doing it right as I set it up on my other phone without issue. Also it says it's a trial version, but I see no way to purchase an ad free version. Lastly it would be nice to have more reboot options than just once a day. I would give it 5 stars if it actually worked on the phone I need it to.

Sorry to hear that. It seems like this phone runs on Android Go, so it's possible that the app does not work as it should. However, the fact that the Power Menu appears and then disappears may suggest the app does the auto-tap, it just doesn't hit the restart button.Maybe to test auto-tap by setting a tap-target somewhere else and see what happens.

Pixel 8 pro, android 15. This app is still at beta phase, and does not work. At the set up time a message pops up, reboot, wait, you see a bubble on the top of the app, but reboot never triggers. When you open the app, probably a few hours later, then the phone reboots. Funny, auto reboot does not work. edit: at the set time, the app should be able to unlock the screen, and run itself. otherwise, no reboot.

That is impossible in Android, with reason. However, it is possible for the app to display a full-screen notification on the lock screen, then perform some action, in this case reboot. That's why it is necessary to grant permission to the app to display notifications on the lock screen.Perhaps you should check that in the phone settings. Best regards.

unfortunately, I could not get to function correctly on the Pixel 9. it would show the notification the device needs to be restarted and in the test stage from the app, it works. however, when the screen is off and the phone is idle, it doesn't work as I would have expected. edit: all options in the fix dose were done prior to my decision to remove and review.

This problem can be related to the notification settings. Perhaps checking the notification settings for the app specifically can help. Maybe "show notifications on lock screen" is turned off. Or maybe you can try to turn off "skip to lock screen" under face unlock settings. Then the phone should show full notifications on the lock screen again.

What’s new

In Android 14 and beyond, apps cannot turn the screen on or wake up the device when the device is locked unless the user explicitly grants the "Turn screen on" permission. The permission to "turn screen on" on Android devices is typically related to the "Display over other apps" permission, usually under "Special app access" within the device's settings. Instructions on how to grant this permission have been added, and some minor bugs have been fixed.
