The Pesticide Information System (SISMARP) has been developed since 2001 to provide information on registered pesticide recommendations for the agricultural sector. Farmers, agri -entrepreneurs as well as Agricultural Development Agents (APTs) can make a reference through SISMARP to obtain information on registered pesticides recommended for specific crops or pest control. This SISMARP application is adapted from the website version giving a choice of many access methods according to the user's convenience. This version of the application can be used offline or online. SISMARP information is updated monthly based on the gazetting of the list of registered pesticides. The app is expected to help farmers get information and make a selection of suitable pesticides to use. It is also to ensure that the pesticides used are effective and safe as intended.
