About this game

Karts. Nitro. Action! SuperTuxKart is a 3D open-source arcade racer with a variety of characters, tracks, and modes to play. Our aim is to create a game that is more fun than realistic, and provide an enjoyable experience for all ages.

Discover the mystery of an underwater world, or drive through the jungles of Val Verde and visit the famous Cocoa Temple. Race underground or in a spaceship, through a rural farmland or a strange alien planet. Or rest under the palm trees on the beach, watching the other karts overtake you. But don't eat the bananas! Watch for bowling balls, plungers, bubble gum, and cakes thrown by your opponents.

You can do a single race against other karts, compete in one of several Grand Prix, try to beat the high score in time trials on your own, play battle mode against the computer or your friends, and more! For a greater challenge, race online against players from all over the world and prove your racing skills!

Great game that's tuns of fun to play. I'm really impressed how well it's been ported from the desktop. The only major issue I've had is that my achievements & progress in story mode will suddenly be reset (race time records won't be reset). I haven't been able to pinpoint why that happens. Sometimes I'll go for months without it happening & sometimes it happens twice in 1 week. I haven't tired playing it online so I can't comment on that.

Mannn I've been playing this for years on PC, way back with the old menu music. This has been ported perfectly to Android! I can't believe how natural and intuitive the controls are. It's beautiful. I wish I could use my phone as the controller on PC lol. The races are fun, no gacha gimmicks and what-not. Just straightforward racing action. Love the gyroscope controls and the speed control. ONLY gripe is braking. D, N, R, it's hard to just stop. And animations, esp. cutscenes, are kinda bad.

I hate it when people blame ID10T and PEBCAK on developers. I don't like the tilt control; I find it much easier to control with my thumb using the steering wheel. I don't have a game controller for my laptop, so it's essentially unplayable with keyboard and mouse and this is much better. This is also a release candidate version. There may be a few minor bugs. I guess having your progress completely reset in Story Mode isn't minor... Performance is fine too. On an 865 I never go below 40 at max.
