This app is not exactly what I need, but it is quite close. It is one of two that I like the most for their clean, pleasing design and simplicity. I would give it 5 stars but for two shortcomings. One, it takes from 1 minute to 1½ minutes to determine my co-ordinates, whereas the other one that I like takes mere seconds. This would not matter if I were not in a dire emergency. Two, it provides the latitude and longitude which are superfluous. This information is already contained in the link. I want my message to be short and sent fast. One good point, though, is that it provides the accuracy distance. If I were caught in a sticky situation, my 'rescuers' would find that information helpful.

Just installed. It seems to fulfil my needs. I would prefer to have an option to pre-set one or more emergency phone number so I can send my location immediately without searching in my contacts. The app doesn't use the phone network to estimate your location in case the GPS signal is not available.

It starts my configured messaging app (Signal), but it doesn't put any message in its message editor. Preferably, I need a widget to quickly send my current (not saved) location to a saved (not editable) contact. Selecting a contact each time defeats the purpose of sending the location *quickly*.
