It's a very good game. Two issues prevent me from giving it full stars: there seems to be no ad-free payment option, and when the video ads are triggered, I have to quickly close the app in order to avoid them. Also, "English" crosswords in this case means UK English, so get ready for puzzles containing lots of UK idioms, place names, historical figures, etc. UPDATE: Thanks so much for pointing me to the ad-free purchase option. My favorite crossword game just got even better!😄

Genuinely one of the best apps I've ever installed. Hundreds of puzzles with different difficulties and when I finished all in one category I was given the option to generate new ones for it. Easy to get hints, good customization, and little to no ads. I'll be playing this for years and never get tired.

Seemingly one of a kind. 6 different categories of easy, medium, hard, very hard, letter (interesting) and themed. Only ads are for hints in my experience. Ads last about 20-30 seconds, but as I said only play when you want hints. Hints come easy enough from completing puzzles, but I've found I still need a lot of them since I don't play a lot of crosswords due to ads autoplaying on other apps.
