Really fun with simple mechanics and a nice clean UI and animations. Edit: After a balance change, the final tower is pratically impossible with the Mage because of a prop card that decreases spell and scroll damage. You can easily reach rooms that just end your run immediately because you can't even get to that card to deactivate it (plus you need to DAMAGE it with your now debuffed spells), or even the exit. Devs, the updates helped but the Dark Tower makes the Mage unplayable. 3.5 stars

Thanks for the feedback! You're honestly the first person to suggest mage is weaker than rogue... Mage has some crazy strong builds! Knight being (a bit) weaker than rogue I can't deny.

This is a perfect mobile game. I really appreciate that the developers give you a lot of game for free before you're asked to unlock the full version. Lots of options and play styles with interesting enemies and bosses that create unique challenges to solve. Very much with it.

Unsure if the game is balanced well in the 2nd tower. You can enter an easier room with 10 items (2 armor cards, 8 attack cards) and simply not have enough damage to clear the floor. You backtrack & take a penalty: now you roll 7 attack cards and 3 armor cards, and you still don't have enough damage to clear the floor (I need 89 damage to kill mains, and 3 additional hits for coward mobs; I only have 69 damage to work with). Feels bad to focus on weapons + damage upgrades and still fall short.

Balancing a game is always tricky, and I won't claim the game is easy. But there's one thing I'd like to add: the monster deck is persistent between rooms of a floor. So if you don't defeat many monsters in room 1 and 2, there will be a lot left in room 3. Too many in your example. Maybe you know this already, I just wanted to clarify :)
