A new kind of deckbuilding roguelike.

In Lost Pages, you don't draw cards. You draw elements.

Instead of drawing cards randomly, spells require elemental resources such as Fire, Water, Earth, and Air. Every turn, elements are drawn from the pool created by your deck, creating a completely new strategic system.

This unique mechanic was recognized for its originality at the Google Indie Game Festival.

Your deck determines the element pool, and every turn you draw elements randomly from that pool. Managing your elements and planning your turns becomes the core strategy.

I enjoyed it. Great cards to create a custom strategy, tons of relics to further strategy, and i love how the game gives you frequent opportunity to get cards and relics, and i really like how you aren't limited to just a certain amount of cards to play, you get your entire deck to use, just need to make sure you have the mana elements for them. Great job devs

I'm... not sure who this is for. It may be somewhat interesting for those new to this kind of game, but it is quite complex. For those who are familiar, the strategy isn't very interesting. All these different options but you can consistently find the strongest build (maintain defense). Additionally, the metaprogression is very grindy, the UI is not great. It has the potential to be decent if it had a more nuanced understanding of design, but currently feels soulless and uninspired.

The game is a fun deck builder similar to Slay the Spire, delivering a variety of fights with unique and challenging enemies as you climb the difficulties. It's done a lot right in making the game enjoyable while not requiring me to spend money, but until they fix a bug that causes the game to freeze on a black screen after winning a run I cannot give the game more than 3 stars for its rating.
