'Lost Pages' is a brand-new deckbuilding roguelike where you draw Costs instead of cards. Forget the familiar routine of playing cards from your hand. The spell circles in your deck form a single Cost pool, and every turn Costs are drawn from it at random. How you weave those Costs together can turn an ordinary move into a board-flipping combo.

Ether is a special Cost that bends the rules. The instant it's drawn its attribute is set, and it always triggers another draw. When luck and design align, a single Ether can chain into a cascade of draws that swings the fight your way in a heartbeat.

My original rating is a 5/5, but I've come to realize how difficult progression really is. Rewards are just abysmal. Other than that, I love the game. Update: BIG issue with the most recent update. When I try to log in, It brings me to a page with a lvl 1 account and a lvl 25 account. The directions are not in english. When I click the lvl 25 account, It just puts me on a lvl 1 account. I really hope my progress is not completely gone. Edit: All fixed! Thank you so much!

Takes forever to get keys. Annoying that you have to unlock all the snacks and runes with keys and then purchase them again to actually use. Game has some interesting strategies but once you start getting to the harder difficulties you have a lot of filler items that can screw you over early on. First couple runs were fun, now it's just a really frustrating experience.

I'm... not sure who this is for. It may be somewhat interesting for those new to this kind of game, but it is quite complex. For those who are familiar, the strategy isn't very interesting. All these different options but you can consistently find the strongest build (maintain defense). Additionally, the metaprogression is very grindy, the UI is not great. It has the potential to be decent if it had a more nuanced understanding of design, but currently feels soulless and uninspired.
