MEATER® is the world’s first Wireless Smart Meat Thermometer that can help you cook meats perfectly every time.
The MEATER® app, together with the MEATER® meat thermometer (sold separately at https://meater.com/shop) will change the way you cook your meals, and make it a new and exciting experience. Using patented software algorithms, the MEATER® app will give you cook time estimates, and guide you towards the juiciest steak, chicken, turkey, fish or other cut of meat that you've ever cooked.
It’s time to break free from the kitchen or grill and let the MEATER® app monitor your food for you. When your food is ready, you'll receive audio and visual notifications on your smart device. This way, you can stop watching your food cook, giving you more time to focus on the things that matter the most to you.

The app works well. Love having a completely wireless thermometer. The Bluetooth range is very short. If you connect it to a tablet and keep it close to the thermometer you can link to the tablet through wifi. Works great that way. Don't pay too much attention to the time estimates it gives you at least for smoking. Sometimes it's really close others it's way off.

It's a good idea when it does work, but that's rarely ever. The device needs to be basically a foot away from the receiver, and your phone disconnects at about a 4 foot distance. Might as well just stand next to your grill and use a thermometer. If it worked how you'd expect it would be great, but to be honest, buy a cheapo Bluetooth thermometer on Amazon. The range on those are crazy. If this thing stayed connected at range it would be fantastic. But since it won't, gimmicky.

This is a must-have tool for ANY cook, grill master, or BBQ artist. The array of items I've used it on already have more than made it worth it. Ribs, steak, chicken, pork chops, etc. And the ease of use on the app is a HUGE thumbs up! Enough can't be said about the awesome features when you're setting it up for each individual cook session. You choose the cut of meat, set the desired temperature you're aiming for, and then stand back. It'll keep track of everything from there. Including ETF
