I tried about five different apps, this is by far my favorite and the easiest to use. The other ones were either in odd units or just clunky. I tried a paid subscription to a service that texted me and drove me crazy with all the texts. I would like to be able to set up a couple reminders on this now and then or maybe it gave me a reminder once a week about one of my goals or something, but overall this is a fantastic free app.

Thank you for the review! It would be great to know more about the kinds of opt-in reminders that would be useful for you (email, push notification, in-app message, SMS, etc). Suggestions are always welcome at feedback@drinkagenda.com.

Very good starting point, especially counting drinks. I added mine the day after with what drinks I could remember and was shocked every time, which was very helpful motivation. From there listing your reasons to quit is helpful, my only complaint is that the prompts for tactics for dealing with it are really just starting points for your own research, even a couple more sentences would be helpful. However, this has been a helpful starting point and motivation!

Thanks for this review and for your helpful feedback about the Tactics page. We will look into expanding our summaries of the techniques sourced from third parties. We will also be adding more original content to the Tactics list, and will allow users to create and possibly share their own original ideas.

I really like the simplicity of the app. I also like how you can set your own goals. You can set up how many drinks you'd like to stick to not just get rewarded for not drinking. I was trying to be healthier and wanted a way to track the number drinks I'd have on a night out without also being pressured to stop drinking entirely. This app gives me that. It's a great way to look at your consumption and learn how to cut back when you do go out.
