About this app

Tidepool Mobile is a companion notes app for Tidepool Web, a free web app, where you can see data from your insulin pump, continuous glucose monitor (CGM), and blood glucose meter, all in one place. Create your free Tidepool account at tidepool.org/signup.

As a notes app, Tidepool Mobile allows you to:

* Tag your CGM, pump, and blood glucose meter data with a note for context.
* Track your favorite meals and your regular exercise, and learn from what you see.
* Search for events you've noted before so you can use your data to help you in real-time, like seeing how your glucose responded to a #walk or #popcorn the last time you used that tag.
* Comment on your data. You and your care team can add comments in Tidepool Mobile and see them in context in Tidepool Web’s more comprehensive visualization and, vice versa, any notes you add in Tidepool Web will then show in your Tidepool Mobile app as well.

Tidepool’s suite of tools is compatible with Dexcom, Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre readers, Medtronic, Tandem, Insulet Omnipod, and Animas insulin pumps, as well as many blood glucose meters. Learn more at tidepool.org/devices.

Spent months upon months troubleshooting aspects of this app with help team cause I wanted it work for me. Couldn't get devices synced, app constantly logging me out or crashing, no accessible way to invite doctors or download data. After all that I found out that even the personal notes I've been making for months had to be exported via COMMAND LINE and still showed up blank even then. The biggest disappointment for medical tech I've had and that's a tough contest. RUN the other way!!!!

I feel the app should have a dashboard. You can not see patterns and averages. I think it is basically a "hot mess". I would rather just go through the hassle of inputting my readings in myself on another app so I can my comparisons, see averages (daily, weekly, monthly...) Diabetes is complicated and i don't need my app complicated, too.

Hi Sheryl. It's a bummer to hear you feel our app is a hot mess. We're working hard to improve the functionality and features of Tidepool Mobile, including a dashboard of sorts when you first login. Until you feel more satisfied with our offering, you can always view your data in Tidepool Web on your computer. -Christopher Snider, Community Manager

Really like the ability to document things that are out of the ordinary, sickness, pizza, sensor failure. However for the past few months the app is constantly crashing and asks me to log in every time I open it which is unacceptable. Also don't really understand why it's not possible to see a basic overview of the stats available on the Web version or print reports to pdf (or even send via email) within the app instead of having to open the Web version on my browser
