I like it but.. a lot of people I send it too don't receive the lettering. they simply get boxes with an 'x' in the center. I'm guess that has to do with the compatibility on their phone as well as the age of the system, as both my iOS and Android do not have this problem. I enjoy it nonetheless. Very good way to learn and teach yourself as well if one wanted too.

Hi. You are right that this is an OS issue. Not all Android versions before 8 (Android Oreo) support runic characters natively. But new phones do, so the problem should fix itself as people upgrade their phones!

I love this app, it's a great learning tool for ancient languages and sending messages you don't want outsiders to read. My new phone, however, doesn't want me to enable the keyboard without a bunch of warnings. So if some users have trouble with that, it means your device needs a few extra clicks for reassurance. It's not the app, it's the device being a tad overprotective.

I love this app! Simple interface. Ads are pretty much ignorable, you don't see them very much. Writing in runic is an amazing experience for those who want to learn ancient runes. Just 2 minor issues. I don't know the inputs for certain runes. For example if i wanted to write "ᚿ" the description says "Khuzdul reversed schwa", but not what letter or letter combination you need to write it. For the other issue, it's only about not being able to set these runes on your keyboard.

Kilo, thank you for your detailed review! I admit that the Cirth runes did not get proper treatment yet, in the coming update I will add more information and add the possibility to install them as a system keyboard (as much as they are supported by Android)
