Dark note makes it easy to add notes and checklists. Its design is very easy on the eyes and is also easy to use.

Taking a Note
The only limit for the note length is the capacity of your device storage. Once a note is created, any edits will be saved letter by letter. Notes can be archived, shared, locked, exported, and much more.

Making a Checklist
You can add as many items as you want. List items can be easily edited or deleted by clicking on the edit icon. Each item can be checked off with a simple click in which that item is striked-through and once all items have been checked off, the title will also be striked-through marking completion.

Permissions
* All permissions are disabled by default, when using these features it will ask for permission*
- Camera: For taking pictures to add to notes or checklist.
- Microphone: For adding audio to checklist.
- Storage: For backing up your notes to your device or Google Drive, OneDrive, etc.
- Other permissions: Fingerprint to lock/unlock your notes, vibration and notification for reminders, network access is for adding locations to checklist, and Advertising ID Permission is for analytics - such as crashing (it's not for ads, I don't even have any).

Ratings and reviews

Dark Note is a hidden gem of an app. Even though it's described as a checklist and budget note system, it's much more than just that. It's quite similar to Obsidian and Notion in many ways, however it has its own unique look and design that I personally like more then them. You can tell the app was made with love by the developer(s), great job whoever you are! Not only is the app basically perfect, it is also completely and honestly free and with no ads. 10 out of 10. 🌟

This app has changed my life! it's feature are welcoming enough for anybody and it feels like a personal notepad & pen anywhere you go, the difference that stood out for me compared to all other note apps (Black Note, Walling, OneNote) is the ability to see in full detail the time and date of a note even to the second! It motivates me to use every hour I have on the day smarter keeping notes on things that I would usually just "remember it later" and forget. My only complain is the icon 🤫🧏

great app, I've been trying it for a month now and it's definitely feature rich. I had some concerns and emailed the creators and they got back to me pretty fast , this surprises me knowing this is not a paid app. I've been trying to reorganize using a system I just learned about called: P.A.R.A. I should say, in my 1 month trying it I found no bugs and I didn't get to try every feature. but I have 3 cons/missing features. 1- no picture placement 2- no folder inside folder 3- no FAQ I am a fan
