Phone Backup and Restore is free, secure and easy to use data migration application. By this user can transfer, backup and restore phone data e.g. contacts, SMS, call logs, apps APKs and calendars between smartphones.
Important Note
In case of factory resetting or switching to new phone, you need to upload your backup files to cloud storage to use them later for data recovery.
Phone backup and restore can’t backup personal data and settings of apps, it will only backup APKs to protect your privacy and security.
You can only restore data from backup files created by this app, without backup files restoration is not possible. So it is advised to backup all your data using this app.

This app can also be used as phone clone to migrate data between smartphones. Use this app to backup your required data on your old phone and upload backup data files to drive, now sign-in drive in your new phone, download backup files and restore them.

Contacts backups and Restore
You can keep your contacts backup to local storage and cloud at same time and restore from both. If you want to restore from cloud, you have to download backup file and then restore it. Backup app can create phone numbers backup or detailed info including address and email of contacts.

SMS Backups and Restore
Now easily backup all your messages or specific conversations. There will be a progress bar with detailed number of SMS and conversations while creating backup and restoring your SMS and conversations.

Apps Backups and Restore

Ratings and reviews

I agree with others that this app has one of the most user-friendly interfaces of any utility I've used, period--ALMOST everything you need with no clutter. Have to say "Almost," tho, because "Help" is *too* light on details, and it's not clear yet whether "Contact Us" is meant for requesting support. Critically, unless I missed it, I didn't see a "prevent duplicates" option for SMS Restore, unlike similar apps, and I ended up w/ two copies of every text.

I would give 5 stars as this is a simple, mostly effective app. However, I cannot get the app to save to Google Drive any more (which it used to do), and I see no option to select drives or solve the problem. The app will save to my phone so that still works, but I think using the restore option would not work without being able to go to Google Drive. Also, very recently there are a ridiculous number of ads - a real bombardment.

Epic Fail! I got this app hoping to setup new install. Everything seemed fine except app backup. First a few would fail in a group of 50. But hand picked one by one got it done. When I went to reinstall they all installed. However only one out of ten worked. 9 out of ten had to be uninstalled and reinstalled from Google store. My texts were lost and I didn't have many. Good idea but unreliable. I lost everything else
