I was connected in Cyprus. It takes ages for the app to sync. Took me 20mins. I had to go through the process multiple times. App went freezing, with errors, displaying "no connection", i experienced all the unexpected reactions. Every time, I had to request the OTP code twice to receive it. The identity certificate is entitled in both Greek and English, but there is absolutely no English information. Why the fuss to entitle the document? The system has a lot of room for improvement.

Finally! Now the app works fine. Thanks to a hint from a posting from 29.12.21, I was able to overcome instantly the problem with the ID import by changing my default browser from Firefox to Chrome! And that after more than 30 unsuccessful tries over the past 8 days! To the Devs: PLEASE check the function of ID import also with other browser apps!

It does not load the id photo ( 25 years old id and not very photogenic 😅). It shows correctly the details and QR code but keeps trying to load the photo without success. Tried out with both taxis and bank login options. The process in both cases works fine until the end but the photo does never load after several attempts on different occasions. Also it appears that it can read the vaccination certificate only when the file has the default name...;;;
