Ratings and reviews

I love Jim's shows, but not this app. My rating is not for the content, just the app itself. Absolutely the worst podcast app. I can't believe I pay for this thing. It's difficult to navigate, marking a show as listened is cumbersome, finding an episode requires more steps than it should, and downloading episodes is slow. Further, it doesn't notify you of new episodes or download them in the background. Free podcatchers can do that, so I don't understand why this one can't.

This is such a great way to keep up-to-date with all of Jim Harold's content. You can see which shows have new content at a glance. The keyword search feature is fabulous when you're browsing for episodes. Author/interviewee content links are integrated right into each page. Sound quality is great. You can skip forward or back by a determined number of seconds. It keeps track of the episodes you've listened to. Tons of great features, and I've encountered absolutely no bugs.

Jim Harold is the O.G. of paranormal podcasts. If you aren't familiar with him, if you like paranormal, spooky, and mysterious content and prefer an engaging and respectful approach, you will probably love him. He's respectful, upbeat, positive and open-minded but not over-the-top. His manner of speaking and relating to people is great. He remains one of the best in his field. This is a great app for accessing his content as it keeps it in one nice neat tidy place for you to listen to.
